I purchased two of these pans which turned out to be the best purchase I made for my kitchen in a long time. I originally bought an "As Shown on TV" brownie pan -- thank goodness only one because I really dislike it for several reasons. But the Chicago Metallic Slice Solutions Brownie Pan makes everything turn out perfect, brownies, crumb cakes, bar cookies and any baking that requires an 8" x 8" pan. Great for goodies that aren't baked, but want to be frozen or jelled in perfect squares.
Even the grid comes in handy by itself. If I bake a 9" x 13" cake, I will frost it, then press the grid down into the cake, first on one end then the other and the cake is cut in nice square pieces, ready to serve. Works the same way for lemon squares. Only limited by my imagination... :-)
