I got 2 of these for my fresh out of college daughter. She says she really likes them a lot. I didn't want to get the teflon coated bakeware as I did not want to expose her or her pets to any teflon gasses when the pan heats up. I plan to get myself these same muffin tins soon. They remind me of the heavy duty muffin pan I loved to use on the farm so much.

The aluminized-steel of this exceptionally durable uncoated pan heats quickly and evenly to ensure uniform baking. With use, the metal darkens slightly, increasing its ability to absorb heat so muffins cook faster. Choose 6-cup crown muffin, 12-cup muffin or 24-cup mini muffin.All Chicago Metallic Commercial Bakeware is made to meet the exacting standards of commercial bakers and home cooks who prefer the tradition of baking on uncoated pans. Each pan is crafted from aluminized steel that combines the durability, strength and heat conduction of an aluminum alloy. The uncoated surface offers good reflectivity for even dispersion of heat and more consistent, even baking and gradual browning. After repeated use, darkening of the pan will actually enhance baking performance.
